Summary

• I am a board certified spine surgery physician assistant. I believe in the principle of cura personalis or “care for the entire person”. I believe that the small health problems affect other health problems, which can begin to encroach on our mental and emotional health. Overtime, those small health issues add up, worsen and can cause great distress and limitations to our daily lives. I prefer to treat back pain with a non-surgical or conservative approach, if possible. As a physician assistant, I believe in a patient-centered approach. My goal is to listen to my patients’ questions and concerns and work together to develop a treatment plan that best suits their needs and lifestyle. Ultimately, I want to help my patients to live their healthiest lives possible. If I am not an expert on your particular health complaint, I use a team-based approach to find you the specialist you need through our orthopedic partners, physical therapists, or pain management specialists.
