My practice is best characterized as an integrative-holistic approach to psychological and physiological disorders. I have had the good fortune to receive excellent training in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology at Washington University under Drs. Eli Robins, Sam Guze, Ferris Pitts, and C Robert Cloninger. I am have been on the psychopharmacology advisory committee to the State of California since 2009.
My American Board certifications are in General Psychiatry and Integrative Medicine. I have received additional certifications in Adolescent Psychiatry, Ayurvedic Medicine, the Grof Holotropic Breathwork, and Transpersonal Psychology. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Ericksonian hypnosis, Jungian Analytical therapy, Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis, Ayurvedic Jyotish, and a variety of yoga therapies.
