James A. Dean, II, DO is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Dean attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience in Kansas City, Missouri. He did his internship at Greenville Health Systems in Greenville, South Carolina and his residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Following his residency he spent three years as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Dean is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. Dr. Dean began his practice with Pulmonary Associates of Mobile in August of 2016. He is a member of The American Thoracic Society.
