- I am board-certified cardiologist and physician-scientist with a long-standing research and clinical interest in hypertension and the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. I have a Master of Science degree in Clinical Investigation from Vanderbilt University, and I have extensive experience in the conduct of translational research. My experience ranges from study design to recruitment to hands-on biochemical characterization of study participants. In addition, I am an American Society of Hypertension-certified hypertension specialist.
I am an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) at the University of Michigan, where my laboratory is actively engaged in translational research related to human hypertension.
