Summary
- I was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. I studied chemistry at the University of Utah, then graduated with my medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. I completed orthopedic surgery residency at OhioHealth in Columbus Ohio. I finished spine surgery training as a fellow of The Ohio State University in complex spine surgery. I specialize in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery addressing degenerative conditions, trauma, revision, tumor, and scoliosis. I have a special interest in minimally invasive techniques and scoliosis correction. I have authored several scientific articles and am a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, North American Spine Society, and AO Spine. In developing treatment plans, I believe in treating each patient individually. In circumstances where surgery is required, I recommend the least invasive techniques to accomplish patient specific treatment goals.
