Dr. Jaime Libes is a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist based in Orlando, Florida, currently providing her expertise at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Academically, Dr. Libes holds several degrees, including a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish, and a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. She obtained her MD from St. George's University School of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She has previously held positions at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and Vanderbilt Health, her work there extending to roles such as Associate Professor and Clinical Instructor. Her clinical focus lies in Pediatric Solid Tumor Oncology and Pediatric Hematologic Oncology. She has contributed to numerous scientific papers, some of which have been frequently cited. Dr. Libes is the recipient of the Career Development Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
