Summary
- Jag Singh is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He has served as the Clinical Director of the Cardiology Division and the Roman W. DeSanctis Endowed Chair in Cardiology (2015-2020). He is the Founding Director of the Resynchronization and Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics Program, at the Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center. Dr. Singh received his medical degree from BJ Medical College, Pune University, India. He completed his internal medicine residency, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at Mass General. He also earned a doctorate from Oxford University, a Master of science in clinical investigation from MIT-Harvard and a research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study.
Dr. Singh has given over 500 lectures at national and international conferences. He is a fixture on educational panels and a speaker at several ‘Meet the Masters’ and ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions at national/ international conferences. He has served as the program director of over 30 educational symposia.
Dr. Singh's research interests are in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is the national & global principal investigator on 6 ongoing multi-center clinical trials in device therapy and catheter ablation. Much of his current efforts are focused on healthcare redesign, digital health and medical device innovations. Dr. Singh has served as an International Associate editor for the European Heart Journal (2012-2015) and Deputy Editor of the Journal of American College of Cardiology: Clinical EP (2015-2020) and the Editor-in-chief of the Current Treatment Options in Cardiovascular Medicine (2014-2020). Dr. Singh has over 375 publications inclusive of original research articles, textbook chapters, review articles and editorials. He has edited two books on: i) Imaging in Electrophysiology and ii) Update on Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy.
