Mental Health Wellness + Consulting
Boston, MA 02116
Summary
- I practice trauma-sensitive and patient-focused MENTAL HEALTH CARE, preventive care, guided meditation, and MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT). As part of my commitment to public health, I teach the MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID curriculum to community organizations, local clubs/groups, and public institutions. I offer flexible scheduling + virtual instruction throughout the United States. With all my efforts I believe in empowering individuals to cope well and build resilience amidst daily challenges of limited time, available resources, and chronic allostatic load. Through group + individual instruction, I teach mindfulness techniques, grounding skills, + self-compassion to help folks grow in self-efficacy + self-reliance that support improved health. I give special attention to CREATING SPACES THAT FEEL INCLUSIVE, trauma-informed, AFFIRMING, and disability + neuro-DIVERSITY FRIENDLY. I work to cultivate WELLNESS WITHIN THE REALITIES of individual and societal challenges, like chronic inequities and structural racism. Wellness in the waiting and laboring for a more equitable world. #BeTheDifference
