Summary

I am the Founder of Larkin Health Systems and Larkin University. Larkin Health Systems is an integrated healthcare delivery system accredited by the Joint Commission with locations in South Miami, Hialeah and Hollywood, Florida. Our network of acute care hospitals provide a complete continuum of healthcare services, including a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, and home health agencies. We are the third largest Statutory Teaching Hospital in Florida. We currently train a combined 491 residents and fellows in 39 different specialties, 272 of which are in areas of Statewide Supply/Demand Deficit.
We also sponsor an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program, an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists Accredited Pharmacy Residency Program and a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program.
In addition, our School of Nursing offers a Registered Nurse Associate Degree Program and our College of Biomedical Sciences offers a Post-Baccalaureate Biomedical Sciences Degree Program.
Larkin University is a 501c3 not-for-profit institution of higher education founded in 2013 by members of our Larkin Family. As an institution of higher education, we focus on master and doctoral level programs in health professions to empower diverse graduates who reflect the demographics of the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. The founding College of Biomedical Sciences offers a Post-Baccalaureate Masters Degree Program in Biomedical Sciences with specialized tracks in Medicine, Dentistry, Physician Assistant, Pharmacy, Clinical Medical Practice and Research. Our College of Pharmacy, is the first and only College of Pharmacy in Miami-Dade County, which offers a three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program and graduated its inaugural Doctor of Pharmacy class in May 2019.
