J. David Netterville, MD, is an anesthesiologist based in Nashville, TN. He completed his medical education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in anesthesiology at University of Tennessee/Methodist Healthcare-Memphis Hospitals and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, respectively. He has been with Ascension Saint Thomas and Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists PC as a staff physician and partner since 1989. Dr. Netterville serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2020 and received the George Burrus Physician Humanitarian Award in 2010.
