• Dr. Thornburg Wellness was created out of a desire for clarity in a noisy, unhealthy and untrustworthy environment.
  Our journey began in a medical office with a dream of making lasting changes beyond the 4 walls of the examination room. Our common sense, scientific, and natural approach has helped thousands of children and their families connect with lasting vibrant health.
  
  Brian Thornburg, DO, board-certified pediatrician who trained at the Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical Center & at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He conducted research at the Agency for Health Care Policy & Research at the US Department of Health & Human Services, the Medical College of Georgia, the University of Miami School of Medicine, & the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Dr. Thornburg was the valedictorian in his Masters of Science in Management at St. Thomas University. He worked as a corporate financial analyst for AmeriFirst Bank & owned a business consulting firm. He also holds a philosophy bachelor degree from DePauw University.
  
  Dr. Thornburg has received numerous community & professional accolades. He is certified in child abuse and served as Medical Director for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County. He served on AAP's Section on Home Care Executive Committee. He lectures on parenting, nutrition & environmental health issues. ABC World News Tonight, Parents Magazine & the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Administration and Practice Management highlighted his medical practice as one of the country’s most innovative & successful offices. He was on the Board of Director of the Golisano Children's Museum of Naples. He volunteered with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting of Florida at HealthyState.org. Additionally he was the keynote speaker at the Florida PTA Leadership Conference.
