Summary
- I remember my Navy and medical school colleages fondly.
I hope you're all well and prosperous.
My lovely wife and I are in San Antonio Tx helping our grandkids grow up. It's hot as hell here but their AF vascular surgeon Dad finished his mil time then took a nice job in the community. Oh yes: I still 'work' teaching inpatient medicine at Brooke Army Med Cen. It's my retirement-from-nephrology job and way easier when I have a good resident. When I don't 'OMG!' becomes my favorite phrase. But SAT ain't the beach. You can quote me on that. So in a few years we'll split our time between SAT TX (181days) and our beach home in Del Mar CA (179 days). No state income tax in TX. Hell if I'll pay 13.3% to the People's Republic of CA. Stay well and enjoy life!
