In 2000, merging with several other prominent nephrology practices, Dr. Mandell co-founded Mid-Atlantic Nephrology Associates, P.A. (MANA), which grew to become one of the largest and most innovative nephrology practices in the country.

    In 2018, after 40 years of nephrology practice, Dr. Mandell retired from MANA and moved to the Pacific Northwest with his family, where he now resides.
