Summary
- Ira comes from the Wasatch Mountains in Park City, Utah. He studied chemistry at the University of British Columbia, medicine at the University of Utah, Med-Peds at the University of Chicago, and combined medical oncology and pediatric hematology/oncology at the National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha. Taking a winding path, he spent much of his journey working as a ski patrol, waiting tables, and traveling throughout Europe and East Africa. When Ira is not at the hospital, you can find him playing with lab data, jumping on his mountain bike, or at the nearest happy hour with his wife and children.
