Summary
- After finishing medical school at Boston University, I completed my Internal Medicine Residency as well as a year of Chief Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. I stayed on for a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases. Currently, I am a clinical cardiologist. I manage the care of patients with valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and peripheral vascular disease.
In addition, I have taken over as the program director of the fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Danbury Hospital. We train 2 fellows per class and have seen all of our fellows go one to clinical jobs or subspecialty fellowships. My goals will be to enhance the clinical training, elevate the level of academics, and help transition our fellows into the next phase of the careers. I am passionate about training the next generation of cardiologists.
