Dr. Skaribas completed Residency in Anesthesiology and an interventional Fellowship in Pain Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. During his residency, he received the "Intern of the Year" award. Dr. Skaribas has an appointment as a clinical assistant professor in Pain Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Until March of 2018 he has been a partner physician and shareholder with US Anesthesia Partners. He has served as the medical director of the Pain Management branch of USAP. In 2018 he founded Expert Pain P.A. a consortium for advanced pain management interventions and where he serves as the medical director and CEO. The author of several textbook chapters and journal manuscripts, Dr. Skaribas is a member of local, national and international professional medical societies.

    Dr Skaribas is a nationally known expert in Spinal diagnostic and therapeutics, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Neuromodulation and Interventional Pain Management, for conditions that usually others cannot offer therapy. Some of his primary expertise include intractable back/neck/extremity pain as a result of spine surgeries,CRPS1-2, Intractable chronic abdominal and Pelvic pain as well as treatment of debilitating Migraine Headaches. Dr Skaribas and has performed more than a thousand spinal cord stimulation procedures with all available products in the field including Traditional tonic, Burst, DRG, and HF-10. In the area intractable abdominal and Pelvic pain he helps patients that cannot find solutions with accurate diagnosis and interventional treatments.He sees and treats sympathetically maintained syndromes, peripheral neuropathies.
