- Idel Moisa, MD graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a residency in Otolaryngology at the same institution. He also completed a one-year fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Moisa has been listed in Castle and Connolly’s “How to Find the Best Doctors in New York,” - 1993-1997 editions, and in Castle and Connolly’s “Top Doctors: New York Metro Area” - 1998 to present.
Dr. Moisa joined Glen Cove Hospital in 1988. He served as president of the medical board at Glen Cove Hospital, and he is currently Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology. He holds an academic appointment at the New York University School of Medicine, where he is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology. He joined ProHealthcare Associates in June of 2012.
Dr. Moisa is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and the New York Head and Neck Society. He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and is the editor of "Otolaryngology Update," a professional newsletter for physicians.
Dr. Moisa's clinical interests include Disorders of the Thyroid and Parathyroid Glands, Disorders of the Paranasal Sinuses, and the management of Snoring and Sleep Apnea.
