He was one of the first interventional radiologists in the United States to perform the TIPS procedure and pioneered a technique to successfully create a TIPS in patients with altered liver vascular anatomy. He has extensive experience in using interventional radiologic techniques to maintain hemodialysis access circuits. He treats patients with various forms of endoleak following endovascular repair of aneurysms and also is extremely proficient in the relatively new technique of prostate arterial embolization for treatment of symptomatic lower urinary tract outlet obstruction due to prostate gland enlargement.
