Dr. Hyung Sun Choi is an anesthesiologist specializing in transplant anesthesia & critical care medicine based in Chicago, IL. He completed his medical education at Catholic University Medical College in 2003 and underwent extensive training, including residencies and fellowships at prestigious institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Choi has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and at the Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester and at the University of Chicago Medical Center since 2023.
Previously, he was an attending physician at Montefiore Medical Center.
His research interest includes anesthesia for abdominal organ transplantation.
