Summary
- I am a board-certified interventional pain physiatrist currently in private practice, after having served as a medical officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 13 years ending in 2019. I completed my fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the UCLA-VA PM&R Pain Fellowship Program in 2006, after completing my residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the UCLA-VA Multicampus PM&R Residency Program in 2005. I believe in individualized approaches to managing patients' acute and chronic pain. I try to minimize pharmaceutical treatments to the extent possible, relying instead on mind-body-based approaches, acupuncture, nutrition optimization, physical activity, and when necessary, interventional procedures.
