  • American board certified in Pediatrics & Neonatal Medicine, I am a fellow of the College of Physicians & Surgeons (Pakistan) and a fellow of The Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, London (UK). A graduate of the physician leadership course (2014-2015) at Advent Health, and an MBA from The University of Central Florida, College of Business (2019-21). I was elected co-chair of the physician leadership committee of American Academy of Pediatrics (MidCaN). I manage infants born at the margins of viability (starting at 22 weeks), and other newborns with complex and critical issues requiring advance life support including ECMO, an expert user of the point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and targeted neonatal echocardiography (TnECHO). I am co-chair of The Protocols Review Committee for clinical research and the director of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) and home ventilation programs at Advent Health. GME faculty at Advent Health for Children, associate professor of pediatrics at UCF College of medicine in Orlando and adjunct faculty at Loma Linda Medical School (Orlando Campus). I have published many book chapters, original research and review articles and also completed a randomized clinical trial. As a physician leader, I have a deep understanding of clinical, academic and financial management in the healthcare industry.
