Summary

  • I am an experienced board certified neonatologist with over 39 years of extensive clinical expertise. After more than 15 years as Division Director at GBMC, I recently stepped down to assume a role as attending neonatologist on a part time basis. I left GBMC in October 2022 and am now an Emeritus neonatologist.

As Division Director, my passion was, and continues to be, the practice of evidence-based neonatology and improving clinical outcomes in the NICU. My recent interests include quality improvement, the use of non-invasive ventilation including bubble CPAP, early enteral nutrition, judicious antibiotic usage, and neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis.

I am currently interested in opportunities for part-time work involving consulting, and performing utilization review of neonatal medical records for appropriateness of level of care and length of stay for hospitals and third party payers. I also am available to review of neonatal records for both defense and plaintiff attorneys.
