Summary

Dr. Hossein Jadvar is a nuclear medicine physician in Los Angeles, CA and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. He received his MD degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and has been in practice 24 years. He also has a PhD in bioengineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a MPH degree from Harvard University, and an Executive MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He completed his internship in internal medicine at UCSF, the residency training in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at Stanford University, and fellowship training in nuclear oncology at the Harvard Medical School Joint Program in Nuclear Medicine. He is currently a part-time candidate for the Master's of Studies in Law (MSL) degree at the USC Gould School of Law. He is experienced in positron emission tomography, nuclear radiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and molecular imaging. He has been an NIH funded investigator and serves on the NIH, DOD, DOE, and CPRIT review panels. He is the Associate Editor for the Journal of Nuclear Medicine and the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Deputy Editor for Clinical Nuclear Medicine, and Consultant to the Editor for Radiology. He is the Vice Chair of the Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI) of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
