Overview of Dr. Yoshihara

Dr. Yoshihara earned his medical degree at Nagoya City University Medical School in Japan. He went on to complete both his residency and orthopedic internship at Nagoya City University Medical School, becoming one of Japan’s youngest Board-certified spine surgeons, before overseeing extensive research into regeneration of the post-injury spinal cord at Drexel University’s College of Medicine in Philadelphia. This research helped Dr. Yoshihara to earn a PhD from Nagoya City University Graduate School.
He has completed multiple fellowships, including a spine surgery fellowship at Niigata Spine Surgery Center and Hokkaido University; a clinical spine and scoliosis surgery fellowship at New York City’s Hospital for Special Surgery, one of the most esteemed orthopedic hospitals in the United States; and additional clinical spine surgery fellowships at the University of Colorado and NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.
With Dr. Yoshihara’s love of research and knowledge not forgotten, he has also published dozens of first-author articles, papers and texts and quickly became one of the most first-author published spine surgeons in the world. With expertise in a wide range of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal diseases and deformities, orthopedic surgery and minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Yoshihara is one of the most accomplished and trained spine surgeons.
Licensed in both the United States and Japan, he is dedicated to helping patients across the globe regain their quality of life through compassion, expertise and the latest knowledge and innovation.
