Overview of Dr. Ellis
Henry B. Ellis, M.D., associate professor of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Fellowship director, UT Southwestern Medical Center; medical director of clinical research, Scottish Rite for Children (Dallas, TX); founding member and current treasurer of Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society; and immediate past president of the Texas Orthopedic Association. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Scottish Rite for Children, and Children's Medical Center Dallas. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Medical School and completed two fellowships, pediatric orthopedics, and sports medicine. He specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, pediatric orthopedic surgery. He has clinical and research interests in hip impingement and other conditions, sports-related joint injuries, osteochondritis dissecans, medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and hip arthroscopy.
