Dr. Helen Blackman is a retired ophthalmologist. She completed her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1969, followed by an internship at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, residency in ophthalmology at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and fellowships at Proctor Foundation, UCSF and NIH, Bethesda, MD. She has contributed to medical literature with publications on ophthalmology. Her professional achievements include receiving the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification and being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
