She earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale and completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Gamboa pursed a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in New Castle County, Delaware. After fellowship, she acquired additional training in Neurogastroenterology and Motility at the Medical College of Wisconsin/Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Her clinical interests include nausea, vomiting, functional constipation and motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
