    Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology in 1989, and Neuroradiology in 1995 ( the first time offered) , 2005, and 2015. Served as a Oral Board Examiner, and as a member of the MOC and Core Exam Committees in Neuroradiology of the ABR until December 2015. Current academic appointments include Professor of Radiology at Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami (Voluntary Faculty), Visiting Professor of Radiology at the University of Navarra, Spain, and Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science, Part Time, at Johns Hopkins.
    Honorably served in the US Army for seventeen years, having served as Chief, Neuroradiology / MRI, Assistant Chief, Diagnostic Radiology Service, and Assistant Director, Transitional Year Residency Program, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
