He received his medical degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology and his residency at Houston Methodist Hospital Weil Cornell Medical Colege. He has been in practice since 2011. He specializes in hospital medicine/hospitalist and is experienced in hepatobiliary pathology and end-stage liver disease. Recently, Dr Carbajal has expanded his practice into the hospital-based care of patients with hematology/oncology disorders such as leukemia and lymphoma amongst other cancers. He has a group practice with several other hospitalist colleagues within his own field of medical specialization.
