Hanh Nguyen, MD, is an academic family physician located in Riverside, CA. He serves as the Associate Dean for Career Advising in the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions at UC Riverside School of Medicine and is a Full Clinical Professor of Family Medicine. Prior to this, he served for six years as the Associate Chief Medical Officer at UCR. He came to UCR from UCI where he was an Associate Clinical Professor and the Assistant Residency Director of the Family Medicine Residency Training Program. He completed his residency and served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Nguyen holds a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biology from Creighton University. He has been honored with the Faculty of the Year and Excellence in Teaching awards from UC Irvine School of Medicine.
