- Han Naung Tun, MBBS, MD is a cardiologist , physician-scientist and researcher affiliated with the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine and a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. Dr Han has authored and co-authored more than 50 scientific publications. He is a committee member of Young HFA in ESC, a member of the Web & Communication Committee of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), where he also serves as an Ambassador of Echocardiography for Myanmar as a “Heart Imager of Tomorrow.” Additionally, Tun is an Ambassador of the Tele-Cardiology Working Group for Asia as part of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth. His research interests lie in both clinical and translational cardiology, focusing on heart failure, cardiac imaging, and preventive cardiology.
