• I am a board-certified general and colorectal surgeon. I manage colorectal surgical patients across all colorectal diagnoses, including colorectal cancer, colorectal polyps, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, stoma-related pathology, anorectal disease, pelvic floor disorders, and HPV-related anal disease. I have 10+ years of clinical and academic experience. I have a professional interest in the processes of delivering high-quality, accessible, and safe surgical healthcare. I seek and enjoy opportunities to develop and cultivate my leadership and management skills.
  
  I have been described by my peers and team members as a hardworking team player who is passionate about my work, collegial, efficient and empathetic.
  
  In addition to my clinical expertise in colorectal surgery, I have demonstrable problem-solving experience with performance under high-stress conditions across all settings. My most valuable skills are communication, collaboration, influencing and data-driven decisions. I am highly organized and disciplined with a track record of resilience, project and people-management.
  
  I have a personal and professional interest in breast cancer, as a breast cancer patient myself. I am a staunch advocate of breast cancer prevention and screening, breast cancer treatment (surgical and medical), and breast cancer survivorship.
