Dr. H. Shawn Wijesinghe is a seasoned emergency medicine physician based in Henderson, NV. He is associated with several hospitals in the region, such as the Veterans Affairs Southern Nevada Healthcare System. Prior to his current roles, Dr. Wijesinghe has served in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, including as the Pediatric ER director at St Rose Hospital- Siena Campus, and Pediatric ER at Summerlin Hospital. His professional experience also extends to General Emergency Medicine at St. Rose Hospitals, UMC, Sunrise, and Valley Health System Emergency Departments.

Currently, Dr. Wijesinghe holds the position of assistant chief of EM at the Las Vegas VA Emergency Department. In addition to his professional commitments, he also dedicates his time to run and practice pediatric medicine at Siena Pediatrics in Henderson, NV, a practice he co-owns with his wife.

Having earned his medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann College of Medicine, Dr. Wijesinghe has been practicing for 26 years. He possesses extensive experience in emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine.
