Dr. Moehring was drafted into the US Army Medical Corps and served in Vietnam during the bloody TET offensive of 1968,receiving a Bronze Star for meritorious service. Dr Moehring completed his orthopedic residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. He has extensive experience in traumatology , management of poly trauma ,multiple fractures, and especially pelvic disruption and complex fractures of the acetabulum. His scholarly contributions are frequently cited by other researchers.
