Summary

  • Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand, I specialize in the treatment of traumatic injuries and a variety of disorders affecting the hand and upper extremity, employing reconstructive and microsurgical techniques in the management of arthritic, neurologic, work-related, and congenital conditions. After medical school, I completed a 5-year residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery. I subsequently obtained my Fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity, followed by traveling fellowships throughout Europe and subspecialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery back in the US. More recently, I was full time faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery for 6 years at a major US medical school involved in teaching, research, and patient care. I continue to publish in my subspecialty field.
