Summary
- I am an OB/GYN who has been in private practice since 1990 and have developed software tools that can be used by the obstetrical care provider, hospital or hospital system in order to obtain an accurate assessment of their cesarean birth utilization. My software tools are based on the fact that labor is a physical process. By better understanding how each woman's unique combination of physical characteristics affects the labor process we can develop labor management strategies that can safely reduce the number of cesarean births. My software tools are data driven and currently benefit from the results obtained from almost 10 million births.
