Director of Psychiatric Services at the Jefferson Headache Center, a multi-disciplinary practice of neurologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, neurology fellows, residents, and psychologists treating patients with head and facial pain syndromes.
The patient population is an ambulatory, high functioning group with significant psychiatric comorbidity that includes all the major Axis I psychiatric conditions except schizophrenia.
The practice is largely clinical-outpatient, and inpatient consultative to patients being treated in a hospital setting. Additional administrative and teaching activities account for about 20% of professional time.
