- Gregory Neel, MD, joined AdventHealth Medical Group’s world-class otolaryngology - head and neck surgery team after completing his advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at AdventHealth Celebration. An honors graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, he was salutatorian of his class at Albany Medical College in New York, where he earned both the Alden March Prize for proficiency in clinical surgery and the John Milton Bigelow Prize for excellence in ear, nose and throat studies. His success earned him a highly selective residency in otolaryngology-head and neck Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. During his time at the Mayo Clinic, he volunteered for medical mission trips in Peru and Honduras before completing his elite fellowship at AdventHealth.
