Summary
- I am an academic psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of patients with addictions, pain, and serious co-occurring morbidities. I began with a focus on addictions; with deeper understanding of cortico-limbic interactions resulting in adaptive and maladaptive behaviors, my interests have expanded to pain and PTSD responses. Most recently I have taken an interest in Kohutian Self-psychology. My work at MGH has allowed me to develop expertise in dealing with comorbid conditions for those with SUD.
