- Dr. Meekins is a staff neurologist at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). He currently serves as Director of the EMG Laboratory at the VAMC and Site Director of the University of Minnesota Department of Neurology residency training program. Dr. Meekins is a member of the Department of Veterans Affairs ALS Care Mapping Subgroup, which is involved in developing nationwide care guidelines for the treatment of veterans with ALS. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
