Summary

• Dr. Greg Bowman is a retired thoracic surgeon. He completed his surgical residency from 1977 to 1982, followed by a thoracic surgery residency from 1982 to 1984 at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now MCP-Hahnemann College of Medicine) in 1977 where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. After retiring from a 23 year Army career he went into practice in Pueblo, CO ultimately becoming Chief of Surgery, Chief of Staff, and hospital Chief Quality Officer at Parkview Medical Center (now UC Health at Parkview). He received an MBA from Adams State University in 2012. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
