- Dr. Grace Elta retired in March, 2019 and is currently an Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center. She has significantly contributed to her field through numerous publications and participation in clinical trials. Dr. Elta's work has been recognized with several awards, including America's Top Doctors, Master in the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology and a fellow in the American Gastroenterological Society. She had won awards as both an Educator and Clinician. Her highest honor was the Schindler Award from the ASGE.
