Dr. Gordon Ohning is the Division Chief of Gastroenterology at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine
University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has active appointments in Las Vegas at the UNLV-affiliated University Medical Center and North Las Vegas VA Medical Center and maintains an active appointment at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in West Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with subsequent internship/residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and GI Fellowship training at the UCLA School of Medicine. He has been in practice over 33 years and is experienced in general gastroenterology/endoscopy, endoscopic hemostasis, gastroesophageal reflux, colon cancer screening/surveillance, GI motility and intestinal disorders. He has more than 90 publications and over 500 citations.
