- I am an emeritus professor of pathology at the University of Chicago, having been on the faculty since 1964.When I retired I had been the Donald N Pritzker Distinguished Service Professor. I was also Chair of the Department of Pathology from 1988-2000.
I am an experimental pathologist with expertise in atherosclerosis and lipoprotein metabolism.
