Summary
- I am a Board certified psychiatrist, providing psychotherapy and/or psychopharmacology, depending on the patient's needs.
I am adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford School of Medicine and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
I am licensed in 10 states and can provide these services virtually. I have been in private practice for over 35 years and virtual practice for over 15 years.
I see adults and adolescents, individuals and couples, men and women. I offer individualized, customized care.
Women's health care throughout the life cycle is a primary specialty of mine,
eg pregnancy and postpartum issues, pregnancy loss, infertility, hormonal issues.
Trauma is another focus of my practice--sexual, physical, emotional, psychological, PTSD.
Additionally, I treat all psychiatric problems including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety/panic, relationship issues, life transitions and others.
I support diversity in every area of life and see people from all backgrounds in my private practice. This includes diversity in culture, race, age, gender, sexual orientation and disabilities.
Working with students from middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate school is something else I appreciate. Teaching and supervising medical trainees at Stanford University School of Medicine is another important part of my work.
I enjoy forensic psychiatry as well and provide expert witness services for attorneys in psychiatry, including my specialty areas and others.
