Summary
- I am a Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon with specialized fellowship training in congenital heart surgery. My areas of expertise include surgical correction and palliation of congenital heart defects in newborns, children and adults. In addition, I have experience with mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation in both children and adults. Hybrid approaches to managing congenital and pediatric heart disease including TAVR is a particular interest of mine.
In caring for patients with heart disease my focus is on achieving the best possible outcomes by working collaboratively with members of the care team. My priority is patient care with sensitivity to the patient's and family's needs, and my responsibility is to deliver that care in an efficient and cost effective way.
