Summary

  • I am a physician leader with expertise in pediatric infectious diseases and track record of leading strategy to improve and transform children’s health. I am routinely involved with promoting excellence in clinical care, medical education and research, and am deeply involved with community, population and global health. I have a strong record of research in innovative vaccine development and HIV immune pathogenesis.

Through many years of progressively responsible leadership and management in departments in major academic medical systems, and partnering with private and public organizations serving diverse and vulnerable communities, I have gained a deep understanding of the children’s health ecosystem and the many threats to children’s health. I have passion for promoting innovative and creative approaches and partnerships to confront them.
