- Dr. Gina M. Hurst is a medical intensivist and emergency medicine physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and went on to complete and Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. Since finishing fellowship in 2016, Dr. Hurst has also received a Master's Certificate in Health Professions Education from John's Hopkin's University. Dr. Hurst is currently the Program Director of Transitional Year Residency and is a talented facilitator with GME. Her passions are for equity in medical education and recruitment, as well as aiding learners in difficulty.
