After completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, he completed three hand and microsurgery fellowships: at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, KY; the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre at Oxford University in England; and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London, England.
After a period as an attending hand surgeon in London, Dr. Becker joined the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson in 2012, where he practiced for ten years and was Chief of Hand Surgery. He is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
Dr. Becker is Board Certified in orthopaedic surgery in both the United States and the United Kingdom, by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and by the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
