Summary

  • I completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and a fellowship in Sports Medicine. I am board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR), Sports Medicine (ABPMR), Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM), and RMSK Certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (ARDMS). My clinical interests and expertise include the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries, sport-related injuries, exercise prescription, electrodiagnosis, regenerative medicine (tenotomies, PRP, stem cells, etc), and diagnostic-therapeutic musculoskeletal sonography.

I currently serve as the Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship, as well as core faculty of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at Mount Sinai.

I am involved in sporting event coverage at the high school, college, and elite level. I had the opportunity to be part of the Rio 2016 medical team at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition, I have been part of the medical team in the New York City marathon and other mass participation events, such as the Pan American Games.

My main goal with every intervention is patient education, early return to function, and improvement in quality of life.
